Optional add-ons, selected when you buy your challenge. Here is exactly what each one does.
By default, funded traders keep a 75% share of the profit. This add-on increases your profit share on funded accounts to 90%, so you keep more of what you earn. It is selected at the point of sale when you purchase your challenge.
By default, all positions must be flat (closed) before the weekend. This add-on disables the ‘Flat for Weekend’ requirement, so you can keep positions open over the weekend. Please note that only crypto instruments can be traded over the weekend.
Your first withdrawal can be requested at any time, and thereafter every 30 days. Normally, when a withdrawal is approved, your Maximum Drawdown locks in at your starting balance and does not reset. Example: you grow an account from $100,000 to $120,000 and withdraw $16,000 — you receive $12,000, we retain our $4,000 share, the balance goes to $104,000, and your Maximum Drawdown locks at $100,000, leaving only $4,000 of room before a breach. A full withdrawal of the gains would lock the Maximum Drawdown at the starting balance and forfeit the funded account. This add-on removes that lock, so you can withdraw — even in full — without putting your funded account at risk.
Payout Protector lets you still receive a payout on any gains in your account even if you breach the account, provided all other withdrawal conditions are met and the account is not otherwise in violation of the Terms and Conditions. Example: on a $100,000 funded account with $8,000 in gains at the time of the breach — without Payout Protector the account is closed and the $8,000 is forfeited; with Payout Protector the account is still closed due to the breach, but you still receive your share of the $8,000 gain.
Every account size has its price, VAT included, before you open the checkout.
Targets, drawdown and daily limits are on this page, not behind a purchase.
Risk is monitored by the PropAccount platform.
Challenges and payments are handled by Prop Account, LLC. TradeForFund receives a commission.
TradeForFund gives traders a clean path from evaluation to funded account, with two separate market tracks and a structured onboarding.
Clear answers about challenges, rules, accounts and payouts.
Subject to the policy on Prohibited Trading, you can trade using an automated strategy.
When trading a Funded Account for the firm, you are treated as an independent contractor. As a result, you are responsible for any and all taxes on your gains.
Charges come across in the name of dashboardanalytix.com.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the applicable minimum legal age in your country, to purchase an assessment.
Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a News Event is prohibited. Traders identified as having opened a position during a News Event may have that position closed, the associated P&L removed, leverage reduced, or the account breached altogether.
You must use an account provided by the company because the risk management software is synced with those accounts to analyze performance and rule violations in real time.
Assessment and Funded accounts receive the same pricing and commissions as charged by the Liquidity Provider to other self-funded retail trading accounts.
Affiliates are credited for referrals when a user creates an account using a link or discount code provided by the Affiliate.
Trading hours are generally set by the Liquidity Provider, unless set by the rules. You can view product trading hours directly on the supported platform.
Subject to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, traders from all countries excluding OFAC listed countries can take part in the program unless otherwise limited at the company’s discretion.
1 Step plans offer up to 20:1 leverage on Forex and Metals, up to 10:1 on Indices, up to 5:1 on Oil and up to 2:1 on Cryptocurrencies. 2 Step plans can increase max leverage for Forex and Metals to 30:1.
A maximum of $1 million in active evaluation plans per person is permitted and a maximum of $1 million in active funded plans per person is permitted, subject to plan-size and step-framework limits.
Prohibited Trading includes latency abuse, insider information, front-running, broker relationship jeopardy, regulatory abuse, challenge-passing strategies sold by third parties, strategy switching between evaluation and funded phases, arbitrage, trading around news events, and gambling-style risk taking.
The technology is currently integrated with DXtrade, MatchTrader, cTrader and GooeyPro platforms via GooeyTrader.
You can trade any products streamed by the Liquidity Provider into the available platforms, including FX pairs and CFD Indices, Commodities, Metals, and Cryptocurrencies.
Upon purchasing an Assessment, you receive access to a trader dashboard where you can monitor your Assessment and Funded Accounts in near real time.
The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount an account may lose in a single trading day. It resets at 5:00 PM EST and is calculated using the greater of the prior day’s end-of-day balance or end-of-day equity.
Maximum drawdown is the maximum your account can draw down before hard breach. It is set at a defined percentage of your starting balance and does not trail.
The Maximum Trailing Drawdown initially trails using closed balance, not equity, until a predefined return is achieved. After that, it locks in at the starting balance.
Yes. If you do not have any trading activity for 30 consecutive days, the account is considered inactive and breached.
Forex: 1 lot = $100k notional. Index: 1 lot = 1 contract, with exceptions such as SPX500 = 10 contracts and JPN225 = 500 contracts. Crypto: 1 lot = 1 coin. Silver: 1 lot = 5000 ounces. Gold: 1 lot = 100 ounces. Oil: 1 lot = 100 barrels.
A soft breach closes violating trades but lets you continue trading. A hard breach means you violated the Daily Loss Limit, Max Drawdown, or Inactivity rule and you fail the Assessment or lose the Funded Account.
All trades must be closed by 3:45 PM EST on Friday unless a Hold Over Weekend add-on has been purchased. Only crypto instruments are available for weekend trading.
Group trading, signal services, passing services, or any method that bypasses individual strategy are not allowed. Copy trading is only permitted if the trader owns all accounts involved.
The rules for the Funded Account are exactly the same as the Assessment account, except that there is no profit target.
Yes. Any accumulated gains are forfeited unless you purchased the Payout Protector add-on.
Payout Protector is an optional add-on that enables you to still receive a payout on gains in your account despite breaching it, provided all other payout conditions are met.
If you breach a funded account with gains, the account is still closed, but with Payout Protector you receive your portion of those gains instead of forfeiting them. Example: on a $100,000 funded account with $8,000 in gains at the moment of the breach — without Payout Protector the account is closed and the $8,000 is forfeited; with Payout Protector the account is still closed due to the breach, but you still receive your portion of the $8,000 gain.
No. It does not prevent or alter breach rules. It only protects gains from being forfeited if a breach occurs.
No. It is entirely optional and must be selected at the time of purchase.
The maximum position you may open is generally determined by available margin. The company may increase margin requirements, limit order size, or limit open positions at any time.
No. The company does not control pricing from the liquidity provider(s) or trade executions.
You can request a withdrawal at any time in the trader dashboard, but no more frequently than once every 30 days.
After passing, completing KYC, the Trader Agreement, and supporting documentation, funded accounts are typically created and issued within 24–48 business hours.
Once you pass the Assessment, you are provided with a funded account backed by company capital. The capital is notional and may not match the amount on deposit with the liquidity provider.
Your first withdrawal can be requested at any time, then every 30 days. Once a withdrawal is approved, the maximum trailing drawdown locks in at your starting balance and does not reset.
For risk management purposes, the company may offset or negate market risk and act as direct counterparty to certain trades executed at prices provided by arm’s length third parties.
